A group of Perth businessmen have pooled their experience in investment banking, trucking and drilling to capitalise on demand for heavy drill rigs in Australia. Oil and gas drilling venture Enerdrill is the brainchild of four high-profile WA industry players - founders of boutique investment house Argonaut, Eddie Rigg and Charlie Fear; trucking tycoon Jim Currie; and drilling expert John Wells - who identified a market gap for heavy-duty drilling equipment in the state's emerging shale gas industry and made the first move.
